We offer general medical consultations in German and English only. Depending on availability our staff will be able to translate Kurdish and Russian. Basic Spanish, Portuguese and Dutch proviciency is available, however due to the complexity of certain topics, we cannot guarantee upfront, that the high standards in communication we set for ourselves and that are required for shared decision making can be met in these languages.

Please bear this in mind and ensure you have somebody available who can translate if needs be.

 

Family members are not always perfect translators, because they are not impartial and may taint the information provided by us. Therefore a professional translator is best.

 

Depending on your immigration status local authorities may be able to assist you. Our local authority is: Gemeinde Moormerland.

If we deem the language barrier too high for provision of adequate care we may have to decline treatment except in an emergency. This is for your own protection and benefit.
